Ben & Jerry’s Punchline ice cream is the fourth flavor in the Ben & Jerry’s and Netflix partnership. We created a 24-hour hotline full of jokes and commentary to deliver jokes, a new flavor and free pints to lucky callers.

Comedians including Wanda Sykes and Fortune Feinster recorded over 30 minutes of jokes for the hotline, which we promoted like a 1800 number.

RESULTS

The hotline attracted thousands of people to dial in and spend an average of two minutes call time with the brand.

125,748 total calls,  22,466 repeat callers, 2,117 average daily callers in the first five weeks of the campaign

When Unilever - Ben & Jerry's parent company - announced their Quarterly Earnings Report the company overall was down due to Covid, the one exception was the flavor variants of Ben & Jerry’s and Netflix brand partnership.
